Hot dip galvanized pipe is a steel pipe manufactured through the hot-dip galvanizing process. The process includes immersing the steel pipe in a high-temperature zinc liquid of about 450°C, causing a metallurgical reaction between the zinc and the surface of the steel matrix to form a dense zinc-iron alloy layer. , and finally covered with a layer of pure zinc on the outside. This double-layer protective structure gives hot-dip galvanized pipes excellent anti-corrosion properties and a long service life, and is especially suitable for use in humid and corrosive environments.
The main features of hot-dip galvanized pipes include uniform coating, strong adhesion, and high durability. The coating thickness is generally between 50-60 μm.
